Lay a translucent color over a PNG, as scene --tint does (a night in one step).

tint IN.png '#rrggbbaa' [-o OUT.png]
usage: pxart tint [-h] [-o O] file color

  tint IN.png '#rrggbbaa' [-o OUT.png]
Lay a translucent color over a PNG, as scene --tint does (a night in one step).

positional arguments:
  file
  color

options:
-h, --help show this help message and exit
  -o O

scene --tint on a PNG (a rendered scene): lays the color, at its alpha, over every
pixel; each pixel keeps its alpha, so transparent pixels stay transparent. Without -o,
      IN is rewritten.

See also, in pxart help all: scene (--tint, items, maps).

pxart help all has the whole reference, pxart help TOPIC one part of it.

This is the output of pxart help tint. The other looking commands and their shared notes are in pxart help LOOKING.
